Cosmo Kids is a private pre-school, play-school, and aftercare centre. We are passionate about providing a beautiful, fun, safe, and loving environment for children ages 6 months to 6 years.

Our Story & Philosophy

A Passion for Children

Founded in July 2006, Cosmo Kids is run by Michelle and Jodi Schumacher, mother and daughter. Michelle bought Kiddi Care in 2000, to create a suitable kindergarden for her children, while she worked part time. She sold it in 2004 and then started Cosmo Kids in 2006. Jodi joined her mom and runs the junior section of the school, she has a degree in psychology and teaching, and is just as passionate about children as her mom.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to making each day a fun learning experience filled with love. We focus on all areas of development with a big emphasis on emotional intelligence to produce confident, brave, empathetic, loving, and well-balanced little leaders.

Registered & Trusted

Cosmo Kids is a registered Private School with the Ministry of Education. We have 5 houses that cater to 7 different age groups, from 6 months to 6 years, ensuring a dedicated space for each child's learning journey.

Our staff are fun, silly, playful, loving and passionate about children. They are excited to do the best job under God's sun. The highest and most important qualification being crazy about children.

We are dedicated to each child's holistic and individual growth. We focus on age-appropriate milestones, while emotional intelligence is our number one goal, for creating strong christian based foundations, that will stay with them for life.
